I learned typing faster by learning the 10 finger system for free on the website in the desciption. I noticed that so many people don’t learn the 10 finger system and school so you need to learn it on your own.
The simple benefit with the 10 finger system is that you use every finger not only some of them. Interesting is to film you typing to see how many finger you use at the moment.
In the beginning it definitely takes time to learn and it is also a little bit exhausting. I did every day 20 mins learning and learned the system after 1 week.
Tips for Learning to Type Faster
Of course you need to do it as routine. Then stick to the 10 finger system even if you are in the beginning slower than with your old system. Many people switch back to the old system because of there laziness.
A great website that I use since a month daily is 10 fast fingers. You can make different test there, 200 most popular words and also 1000 in your selected language. You also have mulitplayer games against other people. This makes more fun because you want to be better than the other person.
It also important for beginners to first focus on accuracy and than adjust the speed.
How to Get Started
First step is to learn the 10 finger system by doing everyday 15 mins. The second step is than to practice everyday 5 mins on 10 fast fingers. What cool is, you can see your statistics on the website to see how you have improved.
If you put in the effort to type faster you will definitely see results in the future.
