How I met the king of pop back in the day. Some of us were on a long haul flight to L.A., in coach. Half an hour in, the flight attendant told us to use the toilets in First Class. Not the free drinks or extra width seats, just the toilets. I don’t consume much fluid on flights as the toilets get disgusting, but eleven hours is long. I went. I took in the comfortable seats and personal video screens. Walking back, I immediately noticed screens around two window seats. Medical, I though. Getting nearer, a skinny boy looking about 12 made eye contact with me. I smiled my brightest smile. He said hello. Landing, we were told we would have to wait before disembarking. People got annoyed. Eventually, we were allowed off the plane. Screens were everywhere. Photographers too. Michael Jackson had said hello TO ME. How exciting! His talent was so inspiring.
