How I Made Over $100K On Fiverr?

Anyone can earn money working part-time or full-time on this marketplace…

Fiverr is one of the best online marketplaces for freelance services. It provides an opportunity to freelance writers, graphic designers, website developers, social media marketers, and other freelancers to offer a variety of services to customers across the globe.

I joined Fiverr in the initial months of my career. Taking a freelancing job was not easy, but I gradually learned all the techniques needed to achieve success.

Landing My Dream Job On Fiverr?

After a few weeks of joining Fiverr and offering a number of writing and editing services, I finally landed my dream job that paid me $100K within a few months.

  1. The client came to me asking for writing and editing services.
  2. They also wanted me to work as a virtual assistant.
  3. They paid me up to $50 per hour.
  4. They were friendly, cooperative, and responsive.

Finding such a wonderful client on Fiverr is too hectic. Out of every ten people we work with, only two to three will be ready to cooperate in the best possible ways. The other ones take freelancers for granted, which is not a good thing because freelancers are also humans and they should be given a chance to prove their worth.

The Key Steps To Success On Fiverr

Here is what made me successful on Fiverr.

  1. Choosing Multiple Niches — Anybody who joins Fiverr should remember that customers don’t come to you after seeing your skills. They only want results. I had this in mind when I started working for my client. I gave them results in the form of daily submissions. I added them to my WhatsApp and used to update them on the progress of the work throughout the day. Though it is not allowed on Fiverr and other online marketplaces, I didn’t know the client well and wanted some sort of security. The secret to success is that you should combine multiple skills. For example, if you are a writer, then pair it with editing, web designing, and social media marketing skills to engage more and more people.
  2. Using Magic Numbers — The magic numbers that worked the best for me were quantity and time. When you provide your services on Fiverr, please make sure you mention the quantity and the time you need to complete a project or task. For example, if you are providing article writing services, then you can write a description of your gig like ‘I will write an article of 500 words in two days.’ This is what I did, and this is what helped my client know how productive I could be.
  3. Not Working For $5 — $5 is just the minimum amount you are paid by the client, but you can ask for as much money as you deserve. In my case, I charged $50 per hour. During one hour, I used to submit one article or had been editing one post for the customer. Working for eight hours a day got me nearly $400.

Takeaway

Just like many other online marketplaces, Fiverr is a platform where thousands of freelancers are offering their services. This means newcomers may not get well-paying gigs for the first few weeks. However, you should not give up because you will surely get what God has written for you.
