October was a busy month for me as a Medium writer.

I published 21 stories, most of them in publications, and earned $21.72 from the Medium Partner Program.

That may not sound like a lot of money, but I’m happy with it.

So, what were the factors that contributed to this? And what can you learn from my experience? In this post, I will share with you some of the insights and lessons I learned from writing on Medium in October.

I wrote this story because I wanted to share my tips and tricks on how to make money on Medium with other aspiring writers. I also wanted to show that it is possible to earn money on Medium even if you are a beginner or have no prior experience.

For the month of October:

I had a decent amount of views and reads, but a low read ratio. This means that not many people who clicked on my stories actually read them fully.

However, I did gain a lot of followers in October: 129.

This means that more people found my stories interesting or valuable enough to follow me and read more of my work.

What I Learned from The Stats:

• Write catchy headlines and thumbnails. These are the first things that people see when they browse through Medium or other platforms. They need to be intriguing and enticing enough to make people want to click on your stories.
• Write engaging introductions and conclusions. These are the parts that people are most likely to read or skim through. They need to hook the readers’ attention and make them want to read more or take action.
• Write quality content. This is the most important factor for getting reads and claps. Your content needs to be clear, concise, informative, entertaining, or inspiring. It needs to provide value to your readers and make them feel something.
• Write consistently and frequently. This is the most important factor for getting followers. You need to show up regularly and deliver fresh and relevant content to your audience. You need to build trust and loyalty with your readers.

October was a good month for me as a Medium writer. I published 21 stories, most of them in publications, and earned $21.72 from the Medium Partner Program. I am pleased with this outcome because I gave it my all. Even though I could have used Medium more effectively and achieved more, I am still satisfied with it.
