I’m still in shock that this f*cking works.
I made $1,200 in the last 5 days with just under 117 Followers.
4 weeks ago when I started, I was feeling lost.
The only thing I knew is I need at least 1,000 followers to make any money.
But I was Wrong.
I wish someone had shared this with me when I started.
But I did it for you.
Here’s my simple 4-step framework for making 4-figures under 100 followers as a beginner.
How I Made $1.2k
I started a new Medium account in January with 0 followers and in the last 4 weeks, I have written 60 articles and gained 117 followers so far.

I want to make $1,000+ Monthly from that account so what I did is sell a coaching service from $400 per month (2hr weekly calls).
No matter what you’re selling, it will work for you.
And at first, I thought no one would buy that high-ticket offer because I don’t have large following.
But here’s how using these simple 4 steps I managed to close 3 sales in 5 days.
1. Make Friends Not Followers
It’s not about how many views you get, or followers you have.
The only thing that matters is People.
Yes, likes and followers matter but if you only gonna write for likes and followers, you’ll struggle to monetize your words.
Instead of focusing on algorithms and different strategies to go viral, focus on building real connections with your audience.
- Reply to their comments.
- Interact with them.
- Make them feel special.
Remember: People buy from those who they like and trust not strangers.
2. They’ll Buy If You Provide Like Expert
Being an expert in your field doesn’t mean flexing your numbers and money. It’s about how much value you can provide them.
Like this post, I share my plan of how I did it, that will be valuable and help you to monetize your work.
Simply. Build your Authority in your niche not flexing money or stats, it’s by sharing crazy amounts of value to your audience.

Doing this will make you stand out from the crowd.
It will build trust and authority that will lead to you more sales through your existing small audience.
3. Don’t Chase Clients. Make Them Chase You
Sales Calls. Cold Outreach. It is a waste of time.
You can’t force someone to buy your products.
The best way is to help them with your free products (like eBooks, mini-courses, free 1hr coaching call) and give them the taste of your product.
Simply, they’re not dumb. If they really want your help then they will reach out to you or buy your products.
No tricks, No pressure — Just let them buy from you instead of you selling them.
I did the same.
Give them my free eBook. Offer Free 1hr Coaching Call. Provide Value and Show them Why they’re not growing. Then Offer My Paid Product.
Boom. New Sale Baby…
It’s that simple.
4. Be Different Or You’ll End Up Like Them
Nowadays everyone is a creator, even 11-year-old kids making TikTok.
Plus. AI is also in this race.
Everyone wants to make money. Offering the same offer like yours. Doing the same thing that you’re doing.
And that’s why you’re not hitting your goals.

Being different is not about changing your goals. It’s about changing the way you achieve that goal. Like I did.
Instead of waiting for a large audience to monetize and make money selling $9 eBooks. I focus on starting to provide value and start monetizing from the start.
And here I am today.
Still, It’s way more Hard than you think.
After writing 112,000+ words, investing 14hr+ in free coaching calls. Building 3 free products in the last 4 weeks.
To reach $1,200 and 117 followers.
It’s Hard AF, but worth grinding.
So Make Friends, Provide Crazy Amount of Value, Give them the taste of your Product, Then Monetize because you deserve it.
