How I found my very first website client
Trying to understand business

It wasn’t easy at first. I had to work hard to land my first client.
I worked as a web developer for different companies for a long time. I was curious about building complex systems and more. One day, I decided to start building websites after my 9-to-5 job.
In the beginning, it was just for fun. I built some blogging sites and private messaging web apps.
Then I thought, why not go out there and do freelance work? There was one problem. I didn’t know where to look.
I Googled some freelance platforms. There were many people who wanted to have websites built. I applied to all of them. Many of them just wanted to build a website but didn’t want to pay the actual price for it.
I didn’t give up hope. I applied to all of them and promoted myself in my circle.
Luckily, an industrial company contacted me to have a website built. I kept the fee low because I wanted to make a name for myself.
After delivering this job according to the requests, other jobs started to come in with referrals.
It’s 2024 now, and I’ve delivered a total of 68 websites.
Thanks for coming this far 🎉
