How I Conquered Laziness and Became Super Productive
#1. The power of prayer
A month ago, I was at home for winter vacation, scared. I left poisonous people behind. I was all alone and looking for an escape from past traumas.
So, I decided to start again. This time more carefully. It’s been 13 days, I lost track of time. And I feel like I’m doing something more than I’m capable of.
So, all the laziness, traumas, delaying have been put on hold. And all I can see is myself dominating every day with my head high.
Here’s how…
The power of ‘PRAYER’
In January 2023, I read a book called– The Power of Positive Thinking. I got obsessed with the concept of ‘Prayer Power’. I started reciting the prayer every morning and night, and the doors of opportunities started opening.
The question that I had was getting answered. For me, it was all magical.
This year, I took things to the next level. This January, I started reciting a holy text — Hanuman Chalisa. I’ve scheduled time in the evening when I just connect with god.
And I’m telling you, it’s been 13 days — I’ve built insane strength and calmness to deal with the issues. All the fear that I had is gone.
If you’re looking for a change — start connecting with God on a deeper level because he listens and gives you what you ask for.
I went ‘ALL IN’
I started a 4:00 am challenge for 66 days. It’s been 13 days I’m showing up every day regardless of what I feel. I remember after 3–4 days of excitement, my motivation fell. Those were the days when I wanted to sleep in.
I realized one thing — I can’t be motivated every time. It’s life. Sometimes you’re all pumped, and sometimes self-doubt kicks in. So I decided, fu*k these feelings — It’s time to embrace the temporary pain.
I dived deep and learned to handle my dominating thougths through rational thinking.
I ask simple questions:
Is this pain will matter if you have a trophy at the end? Is being soft will help you get the shit done? Are you going to give satisfaction to those who laughed at you?
This is how I push myself from the bed, and I do what’s necessary.
I’ve not conquered laziness. I just learned to do things without motivation. If I stop doing certain rituals, I’ll come back to a fucked up life.
So, don’t ever think you are gonna be a champion every day — today might be your day. But If you give up, welcome to the mediocre city.
So, the last thing:
The ability to start from scratch again
Before going to bed– I take a piece of paper write down the date, and then tear it apart.
Because whatever you’ve accomplished today doesn’t matter tomorrow. You’ve to start again from scratch to maintain the winning streak. So, at that, you need a focused mind.
What do you think?
