Summary

The author cleared their skin in 5 days using an affordable $5 apple cider vinegar (ACV) product, which also offers other health benefits.

Abstract

The article describes the author's experience with using apple cider vinegar (ACV) to improve skin clarity. Initially, ACV was consumed for digestive purposes, but it unexpectedly led to clear skin within five days. The author recommends taking ACV on an empty stomach for optimal results, though they provide alternative methods for those who dislike the taste, such as adding it to tea, smoothies, or salad dressings. ACV is also credited with killing harmful bacteria, balancing blood sugar, and aiding in weight loss due to its fermentation process, which introduces beneficial bacteria, enzymes, and proteins. The article suggests that ACV can be a cost-effective and multifaceted health aid, with the added benefit of improving skin condition.

Opinions

  • The author believes ACV is a versatile home remedy, effective not only for skin issues but also for digestion, weight loss, and blood sugar balance.
  • They imply that taking ACV undiluted on an empty stomach may yield faster skin benefits compared to mixing it with other foods or drinks.
  • The author endorses a specific brand of ACV that is unpasteurized and includes "mother" for the most health benefits.
  • There is a clear preference for ACV as a natural alternative to mainstream skincare products.
  • The author suggests that a healthy gut, potentially supported by ACV, could contribute to clearer skin.

How I Cleared My Skin in 5 Days With This $5 Product

No, this isn’t a joke.

So, what is it? — ACV, also known as apple cider vinegar, has been used as a home remedy to treat a range of things from a sore throat, dandruff, bloating—and has also been used to aid in weight loss.

In all honesty, I found this hack by accident. Every morning, I started putting a teaspoon of ACV in my water and drank it on an empty stomach to help with digestion. Low and behold, in 5 short days, my skin was clear of all its bumps and pimples!

Now you might be thinking: “I can’t take straight up ACV, it tastes like vinegar!

If this is you, here are a few ways you can take ACV, without having to worry about its’ taste:

  • Adding it into your morning tea made up of warm water, a teaspoon of ACV, lemon juice, and a squeeze of honey
  • Adding it to your morning smoothie
  • Incorporating it into your meals and/or salad dressings

It is important to note, however, that if you can muster up the strength to work your way up to ACV on an empty stomach first thing in the AM, without mixing it with other foods, you may notice a faster benefit.

What are some other fascinating benefits of ACV?

I’m glad you asked!

  1. ACV has the potential to kill harmful bacteria, here’s how:

The process of creating ACV involves fermentation, which then includes all the beneficial bacteria, enzymes and proteins necessary to provide a perfect environment for your gut. Having a healthy gut could also aid in clearing your skin. Double the benefit!

2. ACV may be helpful in balancing your blood sugar;

Studies have shown that taking ACV with a high carb meal can lower your blood sugar levels and may improve insulin sensitivity. This is done as it slows your digestion down which helps reduce spikes in your blood sugar.

3. ACV may aid in weight loss;

Studies have shown that the vinegar component of ACV can increase fullness, especially after a high carb meal, which can aid in weight loss. Since taking ACV aids in digestion by slowing the process down, this will also help you to feel more full after each meal.

So, if you’ve found that all the mainstream skin care hacks have not worked for you, and especially if you want to find something that will not only help your skin, but other aspects of your health, why not give it a shot!

Linked here is my favourite ACV brand (anything that is unpasteurized, and includes “mother” (the proteins, good bacteria and enzymes mentioned earlier, will reap the most benefits)), but whatever you can get your hands on will do.
