How has playing the violin changed you as a person?
Playing the violin has changed me as a person because I never thought I was able to love something. I love everyone around me, but that I could love something abstract.
At the same time, it is not abstract. It is a meaningful thing. When I play the violin it means something deep to me. That deep is the music that I am playing at that moment. The music I play what the composer meant.
It changed me a lot. I changed since I was seven when I started playing the violin. It changed me the way I looked at the world.
That music can connect us. There is joy in the world.
That is how I changed since playing the violin.
Playing the violin makes me happy. Sometimes I don’t play that much and sometimes I do play a lot.
Feel the music
The composer meant something, want to say something, wrote his feelings through the music notes. He wants you to express his feelings.
I want to express my feelings through the music I am playing. I want to feel what the composer meant by his music. I want to understand his music. Through music, I feel I get a bond with his music, but also with my fellow musicians. When I don’t feel the music that the composer meant, it couldn’t be my day or I don’t understand the music at all.
When I play the violin, I can be a total person. It helps me heal from my past. I have been through a lot in the past. When I play the violin, I forget what happened for a while. I can be in a bubble.
