How Does Big Success Really Happen

Here is how you can have it starting today

Nearly every successful endeavor in my life started with a small first step.

Without the first small step, almost nothing is accomplished. If you never learn how to identify and take the first small step, you will never start writing your first article, first book, or first business.

We can easily talk ourselves out of the things we want most.

They all seem too big and too hard when we first look at them.

However, they are not.

We must start, no matter how imperfect we are at it when we begin.

Lesson to Learn

Once you know what you want, identify one small step to begin.

Start and complete one small step. Celebrate it. Identify what is next and then do that step.

Just keep taking small steps toward your goal. Your mind and your friends will see you are serious and support you.

Doors will open. You will develop new skills.

Success is hard work -one step at a time. Set your mind to begin.

You will find a way to be successful.

Answer for Me

Looking back at my life, I marvel at how I have been blessed.

Academic, professional, and personal accomplishments all started with settings goals and beginning with one small step.

Sure, I needed to identify what I wanted. I also need to spend some time planning. However, none of that would have mattered if I did not act to move forward. A simple small step gave me courage and success to build on. Once you start to succeed, you begin to believe you can and take more risks.

Once COVID-19 started, I needed a daily exercise routine. I hadn’t had one since I was in my 20’s and in the US Army.

What was my first small step? I just started with one minute of exercising as I made my coffee. It took no time out of my day.

Now I exercise each morning for no less than five minutes. It also led to resistance training three times a week. All of this from just beginning with one minute of exercise. I haven’t exercised this regularly for over 30 years.

I feel great, and it reduces my stress daily. And, it all started with one simple first step.

Action

Do not delay; select a goal, and begin with one small step. Make sure the first step is small so that you have no excuses not to start.

Small steps take no time and minimal levels of energy and courage. All barriers are removed with this approach.

Do it no matter how little it is each day until you are good at it.

It works for learning to write daily. It helped me write my first book and write and publish daily for three months straight. Small, easily achievable goals allow you to learn and remain motivated.

Don’t miss another day without finding your small wins!

Daily Habits

Start today. Pick one thing you want to do and find one small step today. Do it. Make sure it is small. You will have no excuses for why you can’t do it.

Celebrate your win! Do the same little action tomorrow. Make sure you keep score.

Refuse not to do it — no matter how small. When you are ready, increase it in length and frequency.

Learn each day from your efforts. You are building transformation methods and success muscles each day you are doing it.

So much of your life lies ahead of you. You can start today with small actions.

Enjoy your life. You now control the key to your success.
