How Do You Choose To Spend Your Time?

Take ownership of your choices

24 hours a day, and I should be spending eight of them sleeping.

It’s 3:00 a.m. and I’m here — there aren’t enough hours in the day.

I woke thinking of an email to send and three impending deadlines — all driven by demands of others.

Little do others know, what happens behind the scenes — the sleepless nights trying to keep up with everything on the list.

Wondering and worrying, consumed by the concerns of others; completing discounting my own.

In the moment, I’m neglecting that wondering and worrying are choices I am making.

So, what do I do?

“Happiness consists of getting enough sleep. Just that, nothing more.” — Robert A. Heinlein

Changing environments helps me to find a reset button and catch up on sleep.

It’s true: a minimalist lifestyle really does bring maximum living.
