The intangible stuff in us is very difficult to clarify but not impossible. There are facts, I see I understand and can touch and this is this, a chair and that is that, a table, a fact etc. But there are experiential facts too, repeatable, that we can consider facts. We come up against its forces and experience them, repeatable.

So we make an assumption: we are part of the fabric of the universe. Lots of metaphors from the past to get you started. They needed the metaphors in the past because they did not have the science. But today, we can take what the mystics in the past said and prove them to be correct.

No need just to believe today, as we can introspect and prove it for ourselves.
