Humans are so attached to physical reality and assume that cards are solid and stable objects, but why can’t energies beyond our perception manipulate them?</p><p id="5100">But nothing is random and all things happen for a reason. Spirit can do “tricks” and arrange things any way it wants. The pure consciousness in the cards is what guides the correct messages from the deck to the humans doing the reading. Everything is exactly the way it needs to be.</p><p id="e734" type="7">All I have to do is trust that consciousness and flow with it.</p><h1 id="8e60">Intuitive Channeling</h1><p id="b582">The readings I do rely on my intuition, not just on the cards coming out of the deck. They all have traditional meanings, which vary depending on what sources you’re getting them from. (Personally, I like drawing on ancient Egyptian philosophies about Tarot, but that’s a topic for another day.) Intuition bridges the gap between the card's meaning and the context of the particular reading.</p><p id="e3c5">My intuition can tell me instantly what the message is when I pull the card(s). I go with the first thought that comes into my mind. And in two readings with the same card, I may have totally different messages about that card. That’s because my intuition can tell me the context of the reading through images and words.</p><p id="15b5">In fact, I often like to do readings without any initial context or even a question because pure intuition combined with the cards will tell me a lot. When my impressions about the situation come into play, my intuitive powers can diminish a little. The less context I have, the more pure the message.</p><p id="37b6">Intuition is such a valuable ability and it exists in each of us. All it takes to hone your intuitive powers is self-trust. You already probably have the messages coming at you all the time. But most of us don’t trust information and wisdom that comes from within because we are so programmed to only believe what the five senses tell us. How Do Tarot Readings Even Work?

It’s all about the arrangement of consciousness.

Hi, it’s me, Emily — your friendly neighborhood Tarot card reader. I wanted to share with you how I work with Spirit to bring my clients messages with the help of the cards. It’s intuitive work, but you also must trust that the universe and your consciousness are arranging the cards for you. It’s an art that takes skill and talent, but I believe anyone can do it with practice.

Reading the cards is a spiritual act. It’s not something to take lightly. How do readings work? I approach them as a channel. I open myself to intuitive messages as the cards are revealed that are presented by Spirit. Nothing in this universe is an accident, and all things aren’t as they seem. You must trust the universe when you engage in a Tarot reading.

This is why I always start my readings by calling in Spirit to help me channel messages for everyone’s highest good and healing.

Tarot Is a Sacred Art

It’s a sacred act to read Tarot. Spirit is working with you to bring you messages for your highest good. For this reason, I never do it in an environment that isn’t conducive to the energies I need to channel into this work. To channel divine energies, don’t you want to be in a place that is calm and soothing, not busy and distracting? The vibrational surroundings may affect the cards and Spirit’s ability to move messages to you through the cards, and they certainly can affect the reader’s concentration in receiving the messages.

So, stay humble in the face of a Tarot reading — just like any psychic reading, it’s a connection between you and realms that are beyond your regular perception. It’s not a game.

Consciousness in the Cards

The universe is pure consciousness. Therefore, you are pure consciousness, and so are the cards. Nothing is as it seems. Physical reality is an illusion.

I trust that the pure consciousness that I am connected with will arrange my deck of cards in the most perfect way for the reading I am engaged in. My intentions in the reading, the questions I am asking the deck of cards, and the thoughts and energies of others involved in the reading will ensure that the correct cards are produced from the deck.
