How Do I Write This Ten-Word Story
The story should be concise and interesting
A wonderful challenge from Tree Langdon and I am honored to play this word game. Thank you for inviting me.
As I pondered this challenge from Tree Langdon, I created various storylines in my head. Soon I realized my choices for concise writing would limit my words as well as the story I created.
I would also like to invite other writers to join this challenge if you have not done so already. Here’s my invitation list in no particular order.
If you have time, please join the party. If not, enjoy reading more stories.

I decided I would embellish this challenge. I created my story using TEN ten-word sentences.
Watching from a safe distance, the dark phantom laughed loudly.
Quickly he returned to the remnants of the fiery disaster.
She saw him moving toward her, she tried not to panic.
Looking back was a mistake, she jumped into the vehicle.
With no time to think, she gripped the wheel tightly.
She stifled a groan as the pain ripped through her.
The timing was not good, she knew what waited ahead.
Sobbing, she bowed her head, knowing there was no choice.
Drawing a quick ragged breath, she pressed the accelerator hard.
Turning the wheel, she aimed her fate towards the cliff.
