How could you not fall instantly in love with this cutie pie?
My friend and I were exploring County Clare in Ireland 4 years ago when we spied this handsome fella in a field on one of the many magical country lanes.
There were actually a lot of donkeys behind ancient stone fences, but with the narrow winding roads, it was often unsafe to stop.
When we got out of the car, the donkey was far away. But when he heard us calling him, he sauntered up to the wall, cocked his head as if to say ‘hi’!
Of course, we couldn’t resist giving him some forehead scratches which he just loved.
I could have spent all day with him. He was so darned cute!
