Shamelessly Copying Others is the Fastest Way to Grow Your Wealth
How to earn double and triple your corporate paycheck like I did.

Do you come across several articles and videos about how a person made X amount of money? Does it annoy you how something you’re always told to keep confidential is just so casual on the internet?
Do you wish you could do the same?
Many people say how talking about money is selling somebody a fake dream. It all feels fake and falsely marketed, except that you can turn this around.
You can use this to your benefit. I would’ve never made more money, and often double and triple my corporate paycheck if it wasn’t for this clickbait content.
Here’s how to use it in your favour instead of resenting it.
It can change your life (It changed mine)
If a year ago somebody told me I can quit my job to do something of my own, I’d think they’re crazy. If they told me that ‘something’ would be writing because that’s been my hobby since I was a kid, I’d think they’ve lost their minds.
Only when I started reading about freelance writers and the business, I realised this actually exists.
Reading about how much money people made helped me dig deeper into their content. I picked up the books they read, the platforms they used, and research deeper into their sources of income.
Instead of resenting how they’ve got it easy in life, figure out what they’re up to and use it for yourself.
Steal this information from them
Now that you’ve found out about ways people make money you didn’t know earlier, you can try it. Don’t go all in, but dip your feet in cold waters instead of diving into it.
Here are the ways it can help you:
- Information: By reading about ways how people make money, you will discover what exists in the market. Maybe even your peers won’t know about it, so it’s important to get a perspective and a view entirely different from your environment.
- Strategies: Many people have put up strategies from their morning routines to their work routine to the mindset shifts they had to make. Bit by bit, you can use them and see how they work for you. I didn’t even know something like the growth mindset exists. Once I started using it, it changed my life.
- Roadmap: You don’t need to reinvent the wheel, because it’s already there. Learn from people’s failures so you don’t have to waste your time and energy to go through them. Sure, you’ll have your own set of downs. But if you can get a cheat sheet to avoid some pitfalls then why not use it?
- Hope: Knowing that you’re not alone and many have been where you are gives a ray of hope to help you keep going forward.
These four things can help you identify your additional income stream and how can you work towards it. So you’re the winner here, aren’t you?
Here’s how it helped me grow wealth
I didn’t even know a side hustle is doable and rather essential. I didn’t know that it hardly takes any effort to start one. All it takes is to create a routine and consistency to stick by.
It all started when I got my first ever freelance gig, which shocked me and made me think, I got paid so well for two hours of work?
And then I got more high-paid gigs. Each time I got them, it surprised me because it felt too good to be true.
I ultimately ended up earning more than my corporate paycheck for a few months into reading and executing strategies... that too by devoting 1/4th the time I devote to my job!
Use people’s journeys to create your own blueprint and play around with strategies. So many have already been through what you’re experiencing, so why not use their knowledge to your advantage?
Conclusion
You can choose two things:
- Resenting those who put it out there about making significant money
- Learn from them and steal their strategies
If you complain and resent, you’ll expend some negative energy and move on with your life doing the same old things.
If you find value and motivation in success stories, there could be the slightest possibility that you can make more money.
That more money could just be an extra $50 or $500 and not $5000, for starters.
But tell me, won’t an extra $500 per month would improve your life? What if you got that extra $500 doing something you enjoy?
So why should it pinch you that the internet is full of “I made $XXXX by doing X” content because you can really use this for yourself instead of making it against you.
