How Connected Are You to The Pulse of Life?
Connect with your gifts in 8 easy steps
In our present circumstances, first responders, the medical staff, the many workers in the public sector — too many to list, have the most important jobs of all. They’re the workers risking their lives to help us with our necessary needs in order to keep our neighborhoods sanitized, our food supply coming, and much more.
Our spiritual leaders too are among those acting on our behalf and of course, let’s not forget, all the leaders of nations. Everyone’s rising to the challenge. Some more than others but I believe it’s fair to say that all doing so within the capacity of enlightenment they already possess.
The rest of us, we’re also doing what we can. And just as our world leaders, we’re all working within our own scopes.
We’re all working within the scope of our own capabilities.
Connect with your gifts
We see things differently, all of us. We come from different walks of life, we know our rights, we know about justice and about setting boundaries. And I’m sure you’re doing your utmost best. So to that, I’d like to add one short exercise that perhaps you’re overlooking. Its aim is to help you to connect with the pleasant that’s gifted to you every day.
Oh. For sure, there’s nothing wrong with having important things to do all day. Those would be the parts of the day that you’ve scheduled and compartmentalized as important. And there again, these important things are different for all of us.
Fierce as a bull you race with time, for, after all, there are only so many hours in a day to accomplish them. Again, nothing wrong with that, but if important things are all you set your mind to accomplish you will miss out on drips of blessings that are released slowly.
Yes, perhaps your accomplishments are rewarding enough, but if tiredness is all you get out of it, then you’re just working on stressful obligations to pay the bills.
Here’s your invitation
All through the day life is pouring down on you and me in little drips. Easy to miss if we bulldozer through the day, but if you pay attention, these small drops will fill your bucket-of-blessings. They’ll help you feel less tired at the end of yet another day in isolation.
I want to invite you to apply mindfulness and help you to derive a pleasurable experience with everything you have going in your life. And it’s my hope that after you complete reading the list that you will gain more recognition of the things you compartmentalize in your life.
