How Communication Is The skill And Soul Of Effective Writing
Every writer must consider mastering the art of communication
Forms of communication and what writers need to acquire?

Communication can be oral or written. In oral communication you can see the facial expressions and emotions. In written communication you see the emotions through the powerful writings, but you cannot see the facial emotions.
In this sense we as content writers have to remember that the right kind of written communication is the soul of our presentation.
Writers must have the skills of communication. Since we are writers and may not know our readers, it is a skill to convey our feelings, emotions, and explanation to the world through our writing.
What does communication mean to you?
What does communication mean to you? To me, it is the art of conveying to others some good ideas to influence, motivate or convince them.
Communication involves a sender of a message and a recipient. Conveying meaning in the form desired is most difficult.
The art of communication must be learned by all writers before they begin to convey.
We want to share knowledge and ideas with others it can be done orally or through writing. Writing is stronger, more effective, and long-lasting.
Written communication has to be understood by the other party as intended by the sender. Miscommunication can be due to differences in the use of language, imprecise use of language, contextual or cultural misunderstandings, interpretation based on irrelevant information. It is often a challenge to make written communication effective.
How does communication become the soul of writing?
#1. A platform for awareness: Written Communication provides a platform for awareness. The readers have to be given situational analysis that the reader does not know or is not sure of. It is an expansion of ideas. If it is done with the intention of imparting something that the writer has learned to others who do not know then it can provide awareness.
#2.Growth for learning: Communication helps in the learning process. Oral communication is effective because the person projects the idea but it stays short-lived because people forget once they move out of the periphery. To make it effective if it is written in the manner of engaging the other, the written word stands out and stays for a long time. The learner can continue to see it repeatedly and repetition helps the learner to remember and recall things.
#3 Clarity in understanding: Written communication provides clarity if there is no misinformation or misinterpretation. If written in a manner that everyone understands it can be crystal clear to everyone.

#4 Convincing skill: Very often the written word can convince people to do the right thing. It has authenticity if written effectively and from the heart, it can have an effect on people and make them change their views.
#5. Influencing people: Both oral and written Communication can influence people. Communication has great power if it is used properly but we must remember that each individual is different. Some people have skills of influencing people through the written word as they are stage conscious.
Others may be very good and effective in their speeches but fail when it comes to writing.
Example:
My student Shan was the student leader and he became the President of the students union. He had great facial expressions and gave firebrand speeches. You will be surprised to know that he failed in his exams because he did not have skills of writing.
We as writers have to write. Our written word has to be fire brand. We have to convey our expressions to the world through our effective writing skills. Our writings have to represent what we are saying and convey our feelings. If we can achieve this we have won the game.
What are the learnings? Is communication a skill?
Communication is a skill. We can all learn it. It takes time, patience, and perseverance to learn it but by keeping the following points in mind we can acquire a skill to bring out the best to convey our feelings.
- Our writing must have a specific audience in mind. We should consider age, interest, cross-cultural interests.
- We should write with a specific goal in mind.
- People do not have a long-term focus. Writing should be direct and should make sense to the audience.
- The subject matter should be to the point. If we are writing about tennis we should stick to it and not go round the bush and bring different subjects within it.
- We must add value to the reader’s knowledge.
- We must focus on language, grammar, sentence construction, and spelling. If we are weak in them the writing will not be powerful. We do need to constantly improve ourselves and also use tools like Grammarly, Hemmingway, and other tools necessary to upgrade ourselves.
- We must write in a conversational style as readers enjoy a friendly style.
To conclude:
We must have a flow of words and continue to improve our style of writing. Some important advice for good writing in our blogs are focus on the topic, conversational style, good crisp work and above all, least stress and pleasure in writing. If you enjoy what you write the result will be great too.
Good writing is always influenced by a happy and free mind. Writing is always through passion, feelings, expressions and happiness.
Good communication skills are important because communication is the skill and soul of effective writing.
