Pay attention to yourself. Life is short, and it’s just getting even shorter.

This is my journey on why I have to lose weight and I achieve it in just 3 months. I feel great and gorgeous and travel the world.

Woke up from a hospital bed one day. I collapse while at work. I was fallen sick badly, and I said to myself, life is short and certain things needed some changes.

I was a workaholic because I am a goal-getter kind of person. Everything I do has to be perfect.

Make loads of money during those times of business in photography.

Was living a high social life, driving an expensive car, wear expensive clothes and eat expensive meals, and partying with friends. Yes, Singapore lifestyle.

But one important thing in my life that has forgotten was to look after myself. I feel heavy, look fat, and in poor health condition.

Focus on making money is not a good thing, life has to be balanced. Many of us spend too much time on our computers for work and answering messages on smartphones. Finding no time to spend with family and friends. Well, this time of covid, yes, we are mostly isolated. But this not a reason not to do things healthy, which many of my friends get chubby during lockdown.

There are millions of reasons we neglect to look after our well-being. We eat junky food often instead of a healthy and balanced diet.

We find a reason not to exercise and instead we take a seat in front of a television and eat, or find a reason to go out drinking alcohol heavily to poison our precious life.

Those words I have spoken here reflect me and was only awakened and realizing it when life threatens me.

Life-Changing When You know that Life is Short — These are the things I did for a change that many drinking and party buddies shocked what I did.

  1. I’ve changed the food I eat. Knowing what best for our body is one thing that can change our health. Slowly but surely, I remove food that is sugary or too salty-related food. No can food and no sausages.

2. Replacing white rice to brown. No fried food and only steam or grilled like chicken breast, turkey, and red meat once in a while.

3. Cut down on starchy food and eat more or nonsugar fruits and vegetables.

4. I eat 3 proper meals a day and healthy snacks in between. Eating proper meals in smaller portions is to build a good functional metabolism. In 3 months, I lose weight from 62 to 51 Kilograms. Remember, I am only 1.57 in height. So it feels so fat.

No, I did not see a nutritionist. I read and research on the internet.

5. I go for exercise, I mix exercises such a walking fast to sweat, yoga, and high intensity like body combat on a video. For a start, I went to the gym and join classes. But when I travel, I stop going to the gym and I exercise daily on my own. ( I have a full-body combat video from a professional and paid for this video years ago. You can download this video with all the steps you need to know here).

I made a plan that I will work for another 3 years after the incidents. The last year has come, and it was the last year running my studio.

Today, whenever I am and whatever I do, I get to sweat, walking, running, swimming, home yoga. I watch videos to do it. It is now a habit. A daily routine for me.

Conclusion:

You can be a better you if you want it. A simple change in your life can change for the better if you start today.

Though too much exercising alone is difficult, it is all about our motivation and attitude. If you want to change your life the way you want, do it! Life is short.
