Abstract

what it represents and how did I come to it?

First iterations were totally unrelated to this final result. They were nice, but they felt a bit off.

Then I had a moment when what I do returned into focus: I build software and give advice on software solutions.

I write blocks of code, mix technologies and that translates into products for myself and my clients.

Then Constanting started to make me think of Constructing.

I don’t know about others, but when I think about building blocks my brain thinks instantly of Tetris. Tetris is a tile-matching puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Soviet Russian software engineer Alexey Pajitnov.

Tetris is copyrighted, but polyominoes aren’t. So I decided to use these simple geometric shapes to build my logo. I used 2 tetrominoes and one domino piece.

When you rotate the logo 90 degrees to the right (clockwise) you also get the IT word. This was an unintended outcome that I realized after finishing up and presenting it to my arduous critics (my better half, Monica, and my sisters: Oana and Alina).

An intentional effect was the aspect of a staircase, which should communicate to business partners the message of stable growth. Although I’m not very happy with the right-to-left direction of the stairs, that was a compromise made for keeping the words and letters that form within the logo.<

How Can I Achieve My Goals?

Are you dreaming big? Are you sure about the goals you have made?

We all have some goals in mind for our life. If you want to grow, there is a need to set some goals.

Now coming to the question mentioned in the title, How can we achieve goals?

To achieve goals, we need to make goals first as sitting at home and dreaming to be rich will not help unless you have a path to follow that will lead to your success.

How to do Goal Setting in a way that can result in Goal Getting

Short Term

Create short-term goals according to your strength, motivation, and willpower. It is great when you achieve them, as it will boost your morale and will act as a catalyst in defining your next milestone.

Always document your goals, as the mind registers best what it reads, and constant reading of goals will help your mind in working toward them.

The Law of attraction works very well when we think about achieving something and keep reminding ourselves about it by reading it repeatedly.

Realistic Goals

We all have thought deep inside us to be very successful in whatever we are doing, but to get the result need we need a definitive path, and creating goals act as a road to our success journey.

Create realistic goals by keeping a set time frame to achieve them, as there is a famous line mentioned below, which clearly states the importance of patience.

Rome was not built in a day.

When we are on a journey to our goals, patience plays a prominent role, along with other factors.

Imagine if someone does workout for 6hrs one day will he reduce weight? He will only exert himself and may lead to an injury or extreme tiredness and resulting in a long break.

We also sometimes tend to make the above mistake. Due to over-enthusiasm, we sometimes make unrealistic goals, follow them with full ambition for a specific time only to leave them, later on, thinking we are not getting the desired results.

So, do make realistic goals, achieve them, and increase the tempo of your next mission.

Measurement

It is noteworthy as measuring goals is like a report card required by us to check where we have reached and how we are going in it.

Never repeat a mistake.

Keep an eye on your goals and start measuring your success and failures. Achievements should motivate you to push hard as well as failures should make you aware of the mistakes that you have made.

Never get scared of failures as they are our Teachers.

Enjoy Small Movements ( Good and Bad)

I want Something Big in Life.

The above sentence has different meanings for different people. For some, it means a successful writer, and for others, it can be a good entrepreneur.

There are different definitions for all of us to be big but to chase that dream of becoming successful, we get so busy and forget the small happiness from our lives.

Before you read forward, Smile for a movement and think about what you achieved today?

If you are unable to think, then tell me one thing did you crossed a busy road today, or were you able to flip your omelet successfully, and have you managed a day without a fight with your better half?

If you managed to perform any of the above, Congratulations !! You have achieved a lot in a day.

Earth will keep on revolving on its axis, but if you cannot cherish small moments of your life, then you will be unable to welcome the positivity.

Should We Celebrate Failures as well?

Don’t worry, the idea is not to depict something out of the box, but to give a message to you is that we should enjoy the small achievements, to cherish what we have achieved. We should also enjoy failures as it has come as a reflection of some of the mistakes you have done that should not pop up in the future.

Failure is like an alert as it makes you aware of the wrong you are doing and gives a chance to rectify it.

People might think that celebrating failure is a rubbish idea. So I am sharing a small example below.

Imagine a person has lost $1000 in a stock market, should he celebrate?

Yes, he should at least have a cupcake from his favorite bakery, as it could have been worst, he could have lost $10000 as well, but an early failure stopped him from making a wrong decision and avoided the Grand Failure.

Conclusion

I will conclude with only a small message that when you make goals, make sure to chase them with full enthusiasm and always have a never give up attitude. It might take some time to accomplish, but the day when you will achieve it, the confidence will be on the sky-high level to create more goals and achieve them.

Thank you :)
