ChatGPT is a popular program for text, but that is changing as AI is now creating music. New programs such as Suno AI are the beginnings of a whole new industry.

AI that creates music is still kind of crude, but that will change as AI gets a whole lot better over the coming years. Anyone regardless of musical talent will be able to create songs that sound good and are listenable.

As a guitar player, I’m as curious about Suno AI, so I gave the program a prompt to create a soulful blues-style song about Alabama. Suno AI creates music as well as lyrics and you can also add your own lyrics if you wish. I had it create everything from scratch.

Results:
