How a Lady’s Kind Words Made My Day
I have rarely experienced the kindness of strangers. A recent incident left me speechless and joyful.
Two weeks back, I had gone to a private hospital to get my booster vaccine shot.
Because of my knee pain, I limped to the front desk and asked about the shot. The lady at the front desk asked me to wait politely.
I waited for about half an hour and started getting impatient. The lady receptionist walked over to me and said:
“Sir, will you please move to the first floor to get your shot? The elevator is out of order. Can you walk up the stairs, or shall I arrange a wheelchair for you?”
Stunned by her unexpected kindness, I uttered “thank you” and went for my shot.
May this blessed soul live a long and happy life!
