How A Guilty Person Tries To Blame Others

Without accepting any responsibility

Trump supporters caused a huge riot at the U.S. Capitol.

It seems pretty obvious to most people that Trump’s supporters were guilty of causing and participating in the U.S. Capitol riot which occurred on January 6, 2021. They were doing Trump’s bidding, but Trump and his allies are trying to blame others.

Trump was clearly shown on multiple media outlets having a rally in Washington, D.C. and telling his supporters to march to the Capitol, but he claims no responsibility for the riot.

There had been reports that Republicans blamed Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats for causing the riot. There were those backing the conspiracy theory that the federal government orchestrated the riot. The police were blamed.

Although Utah Senator Mike Lee had claimed that new video showed a person who was a federal agent flashing a badge, he later admitted that it was probably not the case. The person in question spent a little time in prison for his actions on that day so Lee said he was not likely to be a federal agent as he had surmised.

A story by Sean O’CDriscoll for Newsweek was titled: “Donald Trump Says Undercover Agents Should Have Stopped Jan. 6 Happening.”

Undercover agents hidden among Trump supporters should have stopped the January 6 riots, Donald Trump’s lawyers have claimed in court filings.

Trump wants information on all undercover agents acting within five miles of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, as part of a massive pre-trial disclosure request in his election interference criminal case.

In a disclosure request to Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington, D.C., on Monday, Trump’s lawyers wrote that they want information on undercover agents to show that it was the security forces, not Trump, who could have stopped the Capitol invasion on the day President Joe Biden’s election victory was confirmed.

Now the Trump people are trying to blame undercover agents, saying that they could have stopped the invasion of the Capitol.

How they can claim that Trump had no responsibility for the chaos, destruction, and death at the Capitol is surprising. They are trying to say that Trump tried to stop the riot which media coverage disputes.

A guilty person who wants to appear innocent will try to place the blame on anyone else that he can, even law enforcement. They will accuse others of misconduct instead of taking responsibility.
