How a Friend’s Essay Can Make You Want to Go Out and Hug the World

If you have not yet discovered Rebecca Romanelli, the story below is a perfect place to start.

There is a song I adore, from a few years back. Anytime I hear the melody and words, I mentally float in an ocean of bliss, inner peace and extreme love for humankind. People have told me that the drug Ecstasy causes similar emotions. One friend said it made him content to sit in his yard falling in love with the leaves on the trees.

Rebecca’s article immediately brought that song back to me today. Out of nowhere. It has been a few years since I last heard it.

Via Spotify, here is my World Hug for you to experience and or remember. Bob Sinclar’s LOVE GENERATION. Sung by Gary Pine, a Jamaican singer who was also a key figure in The Wailers Band (‘98 to “06). Enjoy.

These are Sinclar’s written words, repeated throughout the song:

Peace and Love to everyone that you meet.

You do know, don’t you, that this is the antidote to all the evils and ills in our world today.

This message is brought to you from Rebecca Romanelli’s meaningful article and the Love Generation song by Bob Sinclar and Gary Pine. Hats off to you all.

Thank you for your time, my dear reading and writing friends. I am sending wishes for the entire world to Be Kind.

Suzanne V. Tanner writes all sorts of stuff whenever time permits. Her reinvent your life consulting business vies for much of her time. She also provides services in Side Gig advisory and does contract work on customer retention strategies. Vee finds it challenging to keep her: nose out of a book, hands off the latest recipe she is testing in the kitchen, and feet unglued to some bicycle pedals. This abstention rarely succeeds because her partner-in-crime/love-of-her-life guy is playing the same tune side by side. If you would like to be in email touch: [email protected]
