How 2 Small Tricks Helped Me To Gain A Free Premium Membership On LinkedIn?
The process takes only 30 minutes.
LinkedIn is a platform where members share professional posts, search for jobs, post ones, and build a significant network.
I was active on LinkedIn; I enjoyed spending time intelligently and interacting with users of the platform; it helped me to get opportunities and share my prospects there.
And then I was spending time by other platforms, so I quit checking it daily.
Until one day I read an article, where the author mentioned a trick of changing the description on my profile that will influence my performance.
So I jumped to my account and I discover that my profile was modest and needed an extensive setup, so I started the work. And those are the sharp tricks I practiced.
First trick: it’s all about details
I detailed every single detail of my experiences on my profile and sort it by day and category.
And I mentioned both my hard and soft skills in the right place below.
I put on a well-dressed photo and added a well-structured banner.
I updated the long description where I detailed my current job. You can describe your ideal position, a summary of your dominant traits that will catch the recruiter’s eyes. I couple this description with an updated CV.
The mind twist trick is this one: I added a concise description under my profile picture of what I am presently executing.
Simple and brief, and this is a template:
My position | first skill | second skill | third skill And this is a template:
Data engineer | java | Scala | writing
Second trick: show users you are interesting potential.
I changed my status to looking for a job, this helps the flux of recruiters to increase. Users visited massively on my account to discover my profile.
And this is the primary purpose when they are there, they can read easily what I am currently doing, what are my skills, and I am open to opportunities or not?
The major goal is to attract members to visit your profile and get the information quickly.
I finish doing all of this in approximately 30 minutes; I was excited to see if this actually will change something.
After a few days, I received the first email: LinkedIn offered me a discount to have two months for the price of one.
I did not see that email; it gets lost between the other promotions emails.
So a pop-up of an ad appeared on my LinkedIn page, a kind reminder.

The surprise was when I received this message on my notices on LinkedIn:

Those small adjustments made my profile easy to approach, no need to read the long paragraph to get familiar with me, you have merely one choice, dropping me a message to request me for an interview if you are a recruiter or ask me for professional guidance if you desire one.
It’s self-marketing, and you can succeed in it within 30 minutes.
Final thoughts:
Minor changes can make a difference, and as you noticed, we only adjusted some information on your profile, and you are already in the game! Give it a chance, if it worked for me, it will definitely change your profile reach, good luck!
