Hope Should Always Be Mysterious

If you know you’d be saved in the end. Would you still fight?

A very controversial question, if may I say. What do we refer to when we ask it?

From my personal experience, when I have been put in this situation, I must admit, my integrity was not always 100%. But it really depends on the context.

If we talk about a sick person, I think hope would really help that person fighting more, yet, knowing that it will be saved no matter what… would that person still have healthy habits and eat healthily and drink healthy? Questionable.

What if we talk about true love? Let’s say a woman would love you unconditionally and infinitely no matter what you do to her, no matter how much you hurt her or not.

What would most men do? It’s a tricky question. I am not generalizing here, yet, I have seen a lot of men treating women nicely until they have a very high assurance, a child, a wedding, a property bought together, something that will tie them up even more, and then, some men start treating women a little less and less until it gets even violently.

I repeat, this is an extreme example, but the question is, what if these men would have the certitude from the beginning, would they start showing their true face from day 1? Tricky.

In my opinion, knowing you’re saved it’s somehow a vicious thing, it’s a drug everyone craves.

Hope should always remain a mystery that you fight for. If hope becomes certain, it’s not hoping anymore, it’s mathematics.

When you achieve something because you hoped for it so much, the results are incredible and you feel overwhelmed and filled with joy, whereas, if the result is certain, you feel nothing.

So far, I only stated contrary things to my prompt, haha, it’s like I’m trying to argue with myself.

As for positive things, I think it’s amazing to have someone who you can count on with all your heart, to lay yourself out there knowing you won’t be hurt, to be saved even in the end.

No matter what or who we’re talking about, a friend, a lover, a parent, anyone that can save you it’s worth fighting for!

I hope all of you find someone or something like that!
