Hope is the smile that gets me through the day,
Hope is the kindness we all give away,
Hope is the thought my neighbor shares today,
Hope is the love that heals a heart in many ways.
Hope is the forgiveness we give and receive,
Hope is the understanding, that we must not deceive,
Hope is the patience we treat others with,
Hope is knowledge, this isn’t a myth,
Hope is wisdom that gives us new life,
Hope in living that’s how we thrive,
Hope leads us out of the darkness into the light,
Hope is the guidance we need just to make our life right.
Hope is the hand that lifts the fallen,
Hope is the feet that carried the forgotten,
Hope is the door that opens just in time,
Hope saves lives, it’s a ray of sunshine.
Hope is the sunrise that gives us another day,
Hope is the rain that gives plants and trees a say,
Hope is the food earth gives to sustain life,
Hope is everywhere, look and recognize.
Hope is the beauty in flowers, animals and us,
Hope is the stars, make a wish if you must,
Hope is in the moon that shares it’s night light,
Hope is everywhere, just take your flight.
