Show me hope

For a better humanity

I selflessly give and give

Unconditionally

Show me another

Who will do the same

Trust, reliance and authenticity

So hard to find

Many wear masks

Not easily removed

Their evil is ingrained

Deep within their DNA

Pulsating its cruelty

Leaving marks of destruction

Moving to its next victim

Someone show me hope

For my heart still believes

If I can exist

Why can’t another??
