How To Become a Writer

Request to be added as a writer in the comments section of this article. Please include your Medium username.

What to Submit

  • book review (fiction and non-fiction)
  • lists (best reads in xxx, most anticipated books, etc.)
  • reading tools
  • tips
  • cool bookshops and other bookish attractions
  • about authors
  • other bookish content

Submission Guidelines:

  • Follow Hooked on Books.
  • I prefer drafts, but also accept previously published stories.
  • Read and follow Medium Rules and Medium’s Distribution Standards.
  • Use Medium’s formatting to ensure your story is easy to read. Here is a great story about formatting: The Best Medium Article Formatting Guide.
