Honest People Are On The Verge Of Nobility And Honor —While Liars Are On The Verge Of Collapse And Destruction:

In Islam, we must always practice our Faith with Sincerity (al-ikhlas), honesty (Al-sidq), and goodwill (Al-nasihah) — Each of these virtues includes a vertical dimension (in relation to Allah) and a horizontal dimension (in relation to other people); they tell us how to behave with Allah and how to behave with others.
Virtues in Islam such as these act as Guiding principles in all of our affairs, From our mundane daily interactions to the conduct of nations and everything in between. They are meant to be in the Front of our minds at all times, to be considered in all of our decisions.
Try to be honest For Allah is the helper of honest people — Avoid telling lies since it will ruin your Faith.
Allah(swt) said: Iblis [Satan] then said to Allah, ‘Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lure mankind on earth and put them in the wrong, all except Your devoted servants. (Sūrat al-Ḥijr 15:39-40; Abdel Haleem, 265).
In other words, no one is safe From Satan unless their intentions are sincere.
Al-Ghazali comments on this verse, “Hence, the servant is not Freed From Satan except by sincerity.”
(Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazzālī. Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn.(Bayrūt: Dār al-Maʻrifah, 1980), 4:378)
Moreover, Sincerity is the essential quality that guards our hearts and protects us From the delusions of malice — or the treachery of evil spiritual Forces. The Prophet (saw) said: There are three traits by which the heart of a Muslim will not be deceived (or consumed by hatred): sincere deeds For Allah, offering goodwill to the leaders of the Muslims, and keeping to their community.
(Muḥammad ibn ʻĪsá al-Tirmidhī. Sunan al-Tirmidhī. (Bayrūt: Dār al-Ġarb al-Islāmī, 1998), 4:331 #2658)
And the Prophet Hud (a.s) said: I am delivering my Lord's messages to you. I am your sincere and honest adviser. (Sūrat al-A’rāf 7:79; Abdel Haleem, 161).
When Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (r.a) liked something From his wealth, he used to give it away in the way of Allah. His slaves realized this. So they used to worship well in the mosque, Ibn Umar would Fall in love with them, and he would Free them.
People said that they cheat you. He said: "Whoever deceives us by pretending to be Allah's, we are deceived by him." (Sir al-Salaf al-Salihin by al-Isbahani: 497/2)
Imam-i-Tafsir Qatadah(May God have mercy on him (115 AH) says: "Satan seduced Adam and Hawa (peace be upon them) by swearing by Allah, and the believer is deceived in the name of Allah." (Tafsir al-Tabari: 109/10)
Sincerity, Honesty, and Goodwill are essential virtues in Islamic teachings. They must guide our behavior at every level: with Allah, with people, and within our own selves.
Our most important goal is to Facilitate and encourage sincerity to Allah, by persuasion and good example; Faith displayed out of compulsion or in a state of hypocrisy has no value. Honest citizens contribute to the health of our societies by performing their duties and courageously speaking the truth on social problems; Honesty is always valuable, even if it is mistaken.
So, it is important to train your tongue to speak the Truth and to avoid lying. Lying is an ugly habit. There are many people who have the habit of lying a lot, making others call them liars and unable to trust them.
In this honorable saying, the Prophet, May Allah raise his rank and protect his nation From that which he Fears For it, urged us to speak the truth and warned us against lying. Lying is saying what is different From the Truth. This act is Forbidden in serious and joking matters.
If a Muslim says what is different From the Truth, knowing this, then he has fallen into the sin of lying— If a lie causes harm to another Muslim, then this is a great sin.
So, the point is that — when we have the Fear of our Creator, we will be Fearless of everything else, we will not need courage to speak the Truth, but we will speak the truth in the love of our Creator — because Allah loves those who speak the Truth. And Allah's help is with the Truthful people.
In the same way, we will avoid and hate lies out of Fear of our Creator, because Allah hates lies and Shaytan is the companion of a liar.
May Allah(swt) grant us the ability to speak the Truth and live in the company of Truthful people.(Ameen).
May Allah(swt) protect us From putting ourselves in such dishonest activities and may Allah give us the strength to withstand such practices when they tend to infect our Muslim Society.(Ameen).
