Still sore; getting better day by day
Our visionary Middle-Pause Maven, Debbie Walker is recovering in the hospital. Her operation was successful–arthritic bone out, titanium hip in!
A huge step for her! Once she heals, she’ll have a lot less pain and a lot more mobility. A double blessing!
Hip, hip, hooray!
I spoke to her briefly. She sounded groggy and sleepy.
The therapists get her up and walking, which is her name after all!
She’ll be in the acute care hospital for a few more days making sure her blood pressure and oxygen are stable. Then she goes to Rehab!
That’s a rehabilitation center where she can have more intense therapy and rest from the pressures of her busy home life.
