Hindsight
A rhyme for lessons learned

I find it quite intriguing, How hindsight helps us grow.
We find ourselves in situations that dim our inner glow.
However, we don’t realize until all is said and done, For if we had from the start, we may have turned and run.
Reflection is a life saver, A reminder of true worth, And all we have to offer during our time on this Earth.
Sometimes our crowns may tarnish, Or get bumped from upon our heads, And to that I say “pish-posh!” It just needs a little wash. When we reach down to retrieve our crown, We will rise again much taller.
For when we trip and stumble, And the world falls at our feet, It is then that we must love ourselves ever so complete.
Lessons learned the hard way, When all is disarray, Is the best time to look inside, And listen to your inner-guide.
So when the situation’s hard, And seemingly has no end, Remind yourself that you are your own best friend.
All is well, All is right, Thank you for teaching me, hindsight .
