Highlighter Blues
When you highlight everything you highlight nothing

When you highlight everything you aren’t highlighting anything, just changing the color of the type by throwing a blanket over it. I open the pantry and you’ve eaten all the food, dude.
I picture you racing through the words as focused as a hurricane flattening three dimensions, till not a leaf is left on a tree, not comprehending that it’s rather absurd in a sense, to paint a poem like you’d paint a fence.
