I would like to solicit your brilliant article for inclusion in the American Election Aftermath publication. We are always on the lookout for articles of this caliber.
As you can see from the other pieces, we only solicit work of the highest academic standard.
My co-editor and I have already spent several hours poring over your article and we judge it to be a true masterpiece of rhetoric.
After minor editing, mainly typos, I think it will be of enormous interest to our target segment of selective intellectual readers, mainly academics and other thought leaders.
Please don’t be offended by our insistence on changing a word or two here and there. In your case, it will only be tiny tweaks. I am very impressed by the cogent manner in which you have presented your forecast, backed up by your powerful supporting arguments and arrived logically at your inescapable conclusion.
In fact, at the risk of seeming immodest, I had considered writing a piece like this myself, but just like another of your reader/commenters, I, too am astonished by the thoroughness and rigor of your immense labor of love, the hundreds of hours of (sometimes tedious) research and the speed with which you brought it all together in the few short days since the results of the composition of the electoral college became known.
Tom, I believe you could have a brilliant future as a political commentator.

As today’s speaker of absolute truth, I would like to ask you a question: Germany, led by Angela Merkel, is now stepping up to the podium of “Moral Leader of the West.”
What do you feel are the political ramifications of this assumption?
Do you feel Merkel to be qualified?
Or do you anticipate that Angela’s first words to Donald will be to instruct him to refrain from grabbing her genitals?
Would you consider writing an in-depth article on Middle-Eastern conflict?
