Hi Notez: You Decide.

There is a long road ahead of me. But I have come to realize, that pursuing my dream is worth the journey.

I’m still working this out, but I can’t explain why I know myself but feel so unacquainted with my true desire, especially since I left home.

I mean, to me it’s quite clear. At least it was made clear to me yesterday surrounding the major adjustment that taking full responsibility for myself has come with. But if it’s so clear, then why do I always seem to feel so misplaced?

I am working towards building a future I’m not sure I want. And I know when I’m sure. But these days I ask myself how would I have managed if I had trekked this path alone. I’d be a fool and a liar to deny the value of what I’ve learned over the past two years. I am not the same out of touch with reality girl. I’m no longer codependent. And most importantly, I’m no longer a passive participant in my life, a side character in my story.

But what, rather who, am I then? Who am I now?

Maybe it’s the fact that it’s raining that has got me feeling so reflective, maybe it’s because it’s Sunday, who knows…

I think I’ve come to realize the position I find myself in, is not one where questions will help me understand. I need to make a decision and I must decide to boldly take action trailblazing my path forward to realize what only appears to be my dream.

I just had an epiphany. Ever since my life has been filled with the responsibility of managing and maintaining, I’ve allowed the weight of reality to feel burdensome. But what I am just now seeing, is that my will must impose my way into reality. Life is hard, so I have to go harder.

So now, instead of questioning where I find myself currently and if I wanna keep planting the seeds along the path that I am traversing, I ask myself this,

What would I be doing every day that would make me love waking up in the morning?

What would I be doing if I was a kid with no responsibilities to uphold?

If I never made a dime, what would bring me joy?

And just like I answered those questions back then, when the heat of dysfunction was at an all-time high, my answers remain the same…

I want to create. I want to make art from my heart and write stories that are uplifting and empowering. I want to make music from my Soul. I don’t want a day to go by without me creatively expressing myself. And I want to share the authentic experience of my life.

So I’m daring myself. I’m challenging myself to make a decision. I decide to take this desire and allow it to lead my life. Because in Truth, I want nothing more than to create for the rest of my life. And wherever that takes me I am open, willing, and ready to show up and show out, giving my best for what makes me feel the best.

Today, at this moment, I decided.

• To chase my dream with bold action and Self-belief • To risk it all just to live from my Soul • To develop my crafts so I can execute realizing my visions/ ideas • To Be grateful for the little things • To Create A Way

I have often sat in the limbo of uncertainty and to be completely honest, it cripples me. This time, I’m choosing something different. This time, I’m deciding to act on behalf of my best. This time, I decided to take the shot. After all, why not?

In the journey of self-discovery, amidst the uncertainties and challenges, the power to shape our destiny lies within our decisions. Embracing our true desires, daring to chase our dreams, and taking bold action define the path to fulfillment. It’s not about the questions we ask, but the decisions we make. So, in every moment, in every choice, remember: You Decide.
