I thought of you the other day while watching the movie, “Chef” and thought of you, my fellow writers.

It’s a privilege. We have a rare opportunity to share ideas and maybe affect others.
I know that you have affected me. There is someone else we should thank because he affected our lives and so many others.
Let’s give a standing ovation for Ev … drumroll, please… he created Medium … This is how it began.
Evan Williams, Twitter co-founder and former CEO, created Medium to encourage users to create posts longer than the then 140-character limit of Twitter.
This dude created Medium, so for us, I say thank you, man! He had a vision, and so here we are!
He gave us a leg up to be able to express ourselves and so I wanted you guys to know what he looks and sounds like. He is human just like us.
I was pretty lost when I couldn’t walk or talk, but through this Medium thing, I found a purpose.
That’s the cool thing. We may change people’s lives that we may never meet. Even doesn’t know who I am or you are but holy shit…well you know.
This may be where you were supposed to land, or it may just be a stepping stone.

I had a stroke so I am disabled and am kicking major ass.…well in some ways. I can’t walk or talk well but I’m a writing MO-FO! Kickin’ serious BUTT 100%!
This is my silly stroke therapy video. The focus on my face is hilarious! A crazy-ass redhead who is not at all normal and proud of it. I love people and love helping them. Unconventional seems right. Fearless and focused.
