a free verse poem

hey love, don’t go, don’t abandon me, don’t tear my heart apart, i am an orphan without you!

i live to listen, your mellifluous voice, honey soaked with love, don’t want it shared!

i live to see, your lips curve, your kohl-smeared eyes, roll, both breaking into a smile!

i live to see, that strand of hair, falling on your face, when you’re excited, you push them, back of your ears, a swift sway of hands!

please stay, love, please stay back, without you, my poem, loses its meaning!
