Here’s The Results From My First Week On Medium

I have officially been on Medium for one week!

I have been reading a lot of amazing posts on various topics. As a new writer, I’ve found people’s posts about their earnings and stats to be helpful. I thought I would share my first week’s results with you!

For my first week I earned….

So this is not a huge number, but it’s more than I was expecting after one week of writing.

For someone who has never made money by writing on a platform before this is amazing to me. I knew people got paid on Medium, but I didn’t realize how fast you can earn here.

I have posted every day since I joined the Medium Partner Program and have been interacting with a lot of other members by reading, clapping, and commenting on their posts.

Some kind people have been following me everyday and my account has been growing, too. I have close to 170 followers!

Do I have any goals for next week and the rest of February?

Honestly, I am not sure what to expect, but I would love to make $40 in earnings and get to 300 followers by the end of the month. I’ll give you an update on March 1st!

In the meantime I’ll keep posting everyday and read as many posts as I can.
