Here’s How Much Money I Made On The 3rd Of February (I’m In Shock)
Thank you so much for your support and kindness.

Sharing my income with you feels a bit like bragging. And to be honest I get anxious just thinking about it.
I know how much I love it when other creators share their stats. It inspires me, motivates me and I think it’s just such a great learning experience.
But I’ve read a lot of comments in which people say they hate it when people share their income on Medium. And I must say that this does make me insecure.

As you all know by now, I love to be transparent, but I also want to be mindful of not coming across as obnoxious. So, consider this a disclaimer.
Some people also tell me that I shouldn’t reveal my secret sauce.
But you know what? Seeing others succeed, especially those I’ve helped along the way, or the ones that have helped me, makes me genuinely happy.
There’s enough pie for everyone. And the online creator world needs all the diverse voices it can get.

Allright, now here are yesterday’s stats. I had 1.2k views and a whopping 876 reads. My daily earnings were $137.85. I double broke the record I had the day before, which was almost $60 on a single day. Here are some screenshots (I shared the screenshots from the 1st and 2nd of February in this article):

Okay now, there are probably enough of you out there that are doing way better than this. But for me, these numbers are unreal since I only started writing here in November.
And you know it does feel kinda weird to share, almost exposing. And I’m also feeling this strange sense of guilt.
But you have to know that it hasn’t been easy. There were countless late nights the past couple of months. Self-doubt gremlins. And even moments of wanting to throw my laptop out the window.
I spent countless hours into writing stories, researching topics, and staring blankly at the screen wanting words to appear. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not so much.
The truth is, for every high-performing article, there are ten drafts gathering dust. And supportive comments are balanced by an occasional hate comment.

So, what does this all mean? How did I get here? Well, honestly, I’m still figuring that out. Behind the screens I’m busy researching all my stats and I’m going to share all of my discoveries with you guys.
But one thing’s for sure. I’m grateful. Grateful for your support. For the connections I’ve made. For the lessons learned. And for the unexpected thrill of this whole online writing thing.
Now, the big question: should I keep sharing my milestones? Honestly, it’s up to you. Let me know in the comments if you find it valuable or if it’s just annoying and you think I’m bragging.
Thank you for reading till the end and I hope I get to read your success stories soon!
