I have been wanting to develop a side hustle and Medium seemed perfect to me. I have always been very keen on writing and thought Medium was just perfect so I decided to experiment on it and give it a shot to figure out whether it is worth paying for the annual membership and taking your time to write articles. I enrolled for the annual subscription on December 1st. I try to write a minimum of 2 articles every week which amounts to 104 articles a year.

The medium does reward you when members highlight, comment, and clap on your articles. Medium also emphasizes a lot on the read time, but if you are more comfortable listening to the article, you could do that as well.
So, it is extremely crucial to develop an organic following where you support each other. If you lift others, people are going to come up and lift you with them, so be generous and take time to read other people’s articles. Ensure to highlight, drop a comment, clap for them, and consider following them.
