Here Are the 4 Ways I Always Practice To Feel Better Instantly
I believe if I can do it, you can do it

Life will be better if you feel better. — Jude Angelini
A good life is nothing but tiny incremental changes daily.
I am a huge fan of doing experiments on myself instead of blindly following what people are saying, especially gurus.
Many gurus are there just trying to sell stuff.
I started this journey to start something merely 30 days ago. If I like it and especially if I am enjoying it while doing it, I will make sure to continue my journey and do it for more than 30 days.
You can build a great habit and at the same time break a bad one in the time span of 30 to 66 days, according to science.
I practice the following FOUR things, especially if I get stuck or want to feel better instantly. Let’s jump on the learning part.
FIRST
If you are overthinking, here is a practical solution for you.
Start writing
This blog is a part of my writing journal. I shared something in my company’s Slack channel, and colleagues loved it. Being a long-time reader of Medium, I shared my journal on Medium.
Rest is the history. I developed this habit of jotting down almost everything if it’s bothering me if it’s good, if it’s bad. While writing, your brain helps you to bring more ideas.
You never know which idea is going to work out until you try to start writing.
SECOND
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), around 33% of adults and more than 73% of high school students are sleep-deprived in the US.
Sleep is the best medication. — Dalai Lama
I truly believe there are ONLY three pillars of excellent health.
A- Good sleep (quality & quantity)
B- Good Food (1–3 cups of vegetables daily
C- Good exercise (at least 155 minutes of moderate exercise each week)
Nap time for 15–20 minutes or more is a highly debatable topic; everyone has a unique situation based on their body needs.
I prefer to take a nap for 15–20 minutes after lunchtime.
I leverage the home-office setup to have a peaceful nap.
THIRD
Everyone is sad at some point in life.
Sometimes, without even a solid reason, we feel empty from the inside.
How to instantly feel better or get rid of that emptiness
There is only one answer — exercise.
According to National Health Statistics, only 23% of people in America meet daily minimum exercise requirements.
The idea is to hit the National Health criteria to do at least 150 minutes of reasonable weekly exercise to live a healthy life.
I prefer to walk. When I say walk, I walk a lot.
I started walking 10–20 minutes daily to bring more ideas to the table.
Now, I walk 90+ minutes a day in two intervals. In fact, I did a 30+ days walking challenge if you would like to give it a try. You are welcome.
Walking is a form of exercise; it will 100% instantly change your mood.
I make sure to hit the gym 3–4 times a day.
I truly believe that if you want to live a long life, you should walk 10,000+ steps a day, and if you want to live a healthy life while anticipating a long life, you should incorporate strength training in your life.
FOURTH
Studies show walking will help you lose weight and improve your overall health.
However, merely taking 10000 steps to lose weight or achieve a fitness goal might not be enough for many individuals.
Walking is one of the most beneficial habits you may develop in order to live a healthier and longer life.
The fourth thing is related to 3rd one; it will help you to change your mood instantly.
You will start feeling better.
The bottom line
It’s not what happens to you but how you react to it that matters. — Epictetus
If you are facing a hard time, it would be extremely difficult to learn how to feel better instantly.
Start small, extremely tiny.
Something like this one
Do 5 push-ups
Do 5 lunges
Do 10 seconds plank
Do 10–20 squats
Go on a walk.
Call your parents
From there, you can move on to taking bigger steps; what about starting a 30-day challenge to do something new?
Take action NOW!
