Hello…From the Inside
Know Thyself, Heal Thyself Monday Prompt: How do you (inner child) see me (adult self)?

These shoes are no longer your size but look in my eyes — I am your longest ally
Sometimes you hear my small voice you would love to follow but you think you have no choice a world of work and wisdom — you can’t dare a child-like decision
What if for a moment you would see you were broken something valuable stolen —your youth unbespoken
What if right in this moment you heard my small voice spoken allowing for something to be awoken
I know you better, have been here longer, and I can make you stronger
You have lost your focus, eyes all over the place you have worn these shoes on the chase you can’t continue at this pace — you can’t risk losing this race
You have gone ‘round in loops looking for substitutes but my small voice reminds you of your roots
My small voice is your guide reminding you of what is inside with delight and pride your ideas will be clarified and finally be untied —you will finally hit your stride
Today is the day for me, to take a minute to see if I listen to this small voice…what is to be
I will again take hold, regain my bold, thankful tenfold this small voice will never grow old
Thanks, 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊. fro the prompt: Monday- How do you (inner child) see me (adult self)?
