Make my day shine
In the warm days of the summer, I love to start my day with a cool and refreshing beverage. Today I wanted to create something that is very beneficial for our hearts.
A few weeks ago when all the wild berries started to ripen I picked a small bag full of salmonberries, red huckleberries, blackberries, thimbleberries, goumi berries, and red, white, and black currents. Today I wanted to incorporate these lovely berries into my smoothie.
Heart health is very important for everyone especially women after menopause. I wanted to add a few elements that are focusing on our heart health. I added Q10 — liquid, Bee Pollen, and goumi berries to the smoothie to enhance this effect.

Heart Healthy Smoothie Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Liquid Q10
- 1 tsp Bee Pollen
- 1 banana
- 1 small cucumber
- 1 small handful of goumi berries — heart health and cancer prevention
- 1 cup mixed berries of your choice ( I used salmonberries, red huckleberries, blackberries, thimbleberries, and red, white, and black currents)
- 1/2 cup frozen dragon fruit
- 1/2 cup tart cherry juice
- 1–2 cups almond milk (depending on the consistency you like)
Mix it all together until you get the desired consistency.

I hope you have enjoyed this refreshing recipe,
Thank you for reading and taking care of your heart.
