Summary

The author addresses concerns about the immune system's role in combating coronavirus and critiques the pharmaceutical industry, advocating for a balanced approach to health and a shift towards living in harmony with nature.

Abstract

In response to feedback on a previous article about the immune system's importance in fighting coronavirus, the author categorizes the responses into two main concerns: fear of a weak immune system and the defense of big pharma's role in managing new viruses. The author empathizes with those feeling fear but encourages transformation of fear into love and support, suggesting both immediate precautions and long-term immune system strengthening. On the planetary level, the author calls for healing both individuals and the Earth to restore biodiversity and natural health. Regarding the pharmaceutical industry, the author acknowledges the current economic system's flaws but emphasizes the need for humanity to change its approach, aligning with nature's laws instead of trying to control it. The author expresses trust in humanity's ability to make the necessary changes and invites readers to join in the journey towards optimizing values beyond monetary gain.

Opinions

  • Fear is a natural but unconstructive response to health threats like coronavirus; it should be transformed into love and support.
  • Short-term health precautions, such as mask-wearing and handwashing, are important but should be complemented by long-term immune system care.
  • There are two levels of health to consider: personal and planetary, both of which have been neglected and require healing.
  • The author does not attack the pharmaceutical industry but criticizes the economic system that has led to environmental degradation and human health issues.
  • Entrepreneurs have a responsibility to contribute to a sustainable and healthy world by adopting systemic, nature-aligned practices.
  • The author has deep trust in the capacity of people and nature to self-correct and believes that many will choose the right path towards optimization of values, not just financial profit.

Health & Coronavirus: 2 More Observations

Responding to my article “Health: the Answer to the Coronavirus is the Immune System”, I get a lot of comments here and on social media. I can put them into two categories and I want to address both in this comment.

  1. Fear of not having a strong enough immune system
  2. Defending big pharma, saying new viruses do not have natural enemies

Fear

Dear Baba Yaga, first of all, I want to send my love to you and your husband. I hope he will recover well. Fear, in this case, is not a very constructive emotion, but hard not to have. I understand. However, fear doesn’t serve you or your husband, so you might want to try to get past it.

What will serve you is love. Lots of love! Please try to transform your fear into love. Build a circle of supporting friends and family with whom you can both rest and heal without too much stress. And I never said that people should not take short term precautions.

There is the short term and the long term. Short term you can wear a mask, wash your hands more often, avoid contact with animals for a while, and avoid spaces with lots of people together. The immune system is an answer for the long term. We should always be working on the short and long term together.

There are also two levels: the personal, individual level and the bigger picture, the planetary level. We have a personal immune system and a planetary immune system. And we have not been taking good care of either. So that’s my plea: let’s heal ourselves, let’s heal the world and make it a biodiverse place again where natural laws can do their healthy job.

Big Pharma

My stories about the flaws in the economy and the triggers for businesses are never meant to attack. I’m a realistic person, who understands that things are the way they are because they have grown this way.

However, I think it’s time we change our actions as a human species. We cannot go on like this and expect to have a good, purposeful life on a dying planet. And as entrepreneurs, we have a role to play.

So, in my articles, I try to put my finger on the economic flaws, on the human flaws as I see them and try to point towards alternatives. I will always stimulate the systemic way of doing things in line with the laws of nature.

We, humans, are part of nature and we should stop trying to control, to manipulate. We should take our humble role as part of the ecosystems and learn how to live within the boundaries of our planet. It’s a path of experimenting, innovating and asking ourselves questions all the time. And I just hope the energy of change will do the rest of the work for us all.

I have a deep trust in People. I have a deep trust in Gaia, in Nature. And I think in the coming years, lots of people will stand up and do the right thing. They will take the path towards optimizing of all values, instead of maximizing only money. I want to be part of this path, that’s all.

So, if you enjoy my articles, keep following me… If not, also okay…
