Healing With Brando

Parts 1–4: Let’s Get To Work

I’ve often drawn this uninvited therapist character. These recurring drawings feel like recurring dreams. They want to mean something.

My first guess in deciphering this one is that, once I learned about self-reflective healing, it felt like a well-meaning but fumbling internal psychotherapist genie got out of his bottle and up into my face.

There’s been no going back. There are no more easy, mindless, childhood days without self-reflection for me, sadly. If only to have pulled off a whole life of those. I’m sure I would have been thoroughly insufferable, but I would have at least been blissfully unaware of it.
