Have You Saved Old Things That You Can Sell?

A click bait title told about some items that could be valuable

A Darth Vader toy may be worth a lot of money.

People are often saving old things with the hope that someday they could be valuable. Some people visit thrift stores and garage sales trying to find items that could bring in large sums of money at a future time. Others purchased new items when they first came out with the intent to sell them at a profit later.

A WacoJaco article by Mika Ayla listed old items that people might have saved which could be valuable. The title was:

That definitely is not true for “any” or “all” of those items, but it could be true for a few of the 40 items. Here are some items and prices listed which could possibly be received for selling them:

Elvis Presley board game about love — $2,150

First generation Tamagotchi — $2,250

Samantha American Girl doll — $4,000

Pyrex casserole dish — $4,000

Care Bears Pink Monkey — $10,000

iPod Classic — $20,000

Original Superman action figure — $25,000

Original Darth Vader action figure — $43,944

First edition of Harry Potter books — $56,000

Princess Diana Beanie Baby — $200,000

Vincent Black Lightning Motorcycle — about $1 million

A lot of the grandmothers out there might have those Pyrex casserole dishes. An antique dish could bring in some money. Some people likely have some Beanie Babies which could bring in a little money, and some may have those Princess Diana Beanie Babies. Toys can be valuable.

Although they may have owned those items in the past, most people did not hold on to them. Some likely did.

To receive top dollar for any old items, they must be in excellent condition. That is true for books, baseball cards, and other items.

Maybe it is time to go through the attic, garage, or basement to check and see what’s there.
