What do all Medium writers want?

That’s a rhetorical question for most of us.

We know what we want and we think we know how to get there.

So, we write, promote, tag, comment and do it all over again.

Sure, we sometimes link another story or tag a couple of other writers.

But its primarily about ourselves, isn’t it? Because, we are hard wired to think that we have to hustle and promote our stories in order to stand out on this crowded platform.

But then comes someone like Sahil Patel with his pub Reciprocal and shows us a new way of getting there.

Reciprocal has a simple goal. Writers helping writers get noticed.

Curious? Check out the details

But Sahil hasn’t stopped there. He has started a Daily Reading Marathon where he picks one Reciprocal writer and features their stories in his article.

Yes, you read that right.

He writes a whole article that talks about YOU and your stories!

Writers Lift on steroids, right?

I was fortunate enough to get featured on Day 5

I had 90 reads and comments on my stories within a few hours of being featured.

So, I got more reads, claps and comments because Sahil spent his own time writing about my stories!

Epic!

I am not sure how I can even begin to thank him. The least I can do is spread the word so more writers find Reciprocal and help Sahil with his vision.

And he is happy to do it for any of you. In fact, he would love for us to join this Reading Marathon so more writers can get featured. The Reading Marathon will run for 90 days and is just 5 days into it.

Moral of the story?

Giving to others doesn’t take from you.

Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on Earth. Mohammed Ali
