Have You Ever Fallen in Love Before First Sight
Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and future mothers

We have all heard about love at first sight. It is an incredible feeling for the one hit by stupid cupid. It is a memorable moment that provides its loving warmth on every sad and dull day.
But it was your mother who fell in love with you — even before she ever laid eyes on you. She still ignores herself to talk about you, she is still in love with you and she’ll always be. That is the definition of unconditional love — the height of the very idea of love — when someone loves you more than their life.
She started loving you when you were just an idea in her head. She would smile to herself and send good wishes to you even before she conceived you or met your father. You were the reason for so much she did in life, with or without your knowledge.
Your mother brought you into this life, knowing how fragile you would be. She pledged to keep you healthy. She promised that she would never let you down. Whether she succeeded or failed is not of importance, she is just a human being.
This love affair started when you did not even have a face, a gender, or an identity. The only thing that she cared about was your wellbeing and your health.
She gave you everything, from her smile to her heart. She helped you to grow, and she spent many nights sitting beside you, telling you stories and caring for you when you were sick.
Anna Jarvis, the mother of Mother’s Day, believed that a mother is — the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world. Anna Jarvis also wanted you to handwrite a letter to your mother to show your love and gratitude. She was against the commercialization of Mother’s Day — no card exchange. Search for the best words to express how much you love her.
Remember, your mother is a human being. Forgive her for everything. She is just trying to make sense of life to the best of her ability. It is hard for you, and it was hard for her. Always remember that a dysfunctional mother is better than an absent mother. Forgiveness will bring peace to you, and you will be able to see the good things she did for you. Mothers are allowed to make mistakes. Search for the best words to forgive her from the deepest core of your being.
While you are writing a lovely message for your mother, know that every day nearly 800 mothers die from preventable conditions related to pregnancy and delivery. There are 19 million single mothers in the world, providing food for their children. Demonstrate your empathy and understanding of their problems.
If there was ever a goddess in this world, it was your mother. Your mother is the bridge that brought you into existence from nothingness. You are her idea; you are her masterpiece.
Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws.~Barbara Kingsolver
