GHOSTWRITING FOR PROFIT | BUSINESSBLOGGING
Have You Considered How Difficult It Is to Write — These Are the Best “Shitsuckers” in Your Area for Six Years?
Ghost blogging for businesses can be fairly lucrative. However, to be successful, you must understand and naturally infuse each article or blog with local search engine optimization (SEO).
Ghostwriter at the keyboard — Dreamstime #215612473
I am a freelance copywriter — a ghostwriter for businesses.
I write primarily on Medium and NewsBreak, but I earn a living writing copy and ghost-blogging for businesses.
I have written for two California lawyers for eight years. Both occupy the top two spots on Google search engine result pages (SERPs) for many of their legal services.
“People like LeBron and Bieber can afford one, but most of us would have to sell our car.” This is one I wrote for my Medium readers to warn them about how expensive CA traffic tickets can be.
One is a traffic attorney, and the other is a personal injury lawyer.
I know more about California traffic law and accidents (slips, trips, falls, and motor vehicle mishaps) than many lawyers.
I must remember that I can never promise anything, and active voice does not apply to law in many cases. The phrase I use most often is “knowledgeable and experienced.” A lawyer also cannot say they are “the best” or “top traffic attorney.”
A lawyer can get disbarred or sanctioned by the State bar if they promise a client anything they can’t deliver. It is up to the traffic court judge or jury to dismiss a ticket.
In CA, the traffic court judge is the one who decides guilt or innocence. There is no jury. Moreover, the lawyer can only raise the level of “reasonable doubt.”
For instance, if the law enforcement officer (LEO) who issued the ticket does not show up for trial (they don’t have to be there for the arraignment), the judge should dismiss the ticket. Though, if you or your traffic attorney do not ask for a dismissal, the judge will likely continue.
It is your constitutional right to “…face your accuser.”
However, there is a tremendous difference between criminal trials and civil suits.
The first is in a criminal trial, you must be “…tried by a jury of your peers,” who must decide your guilt or innocence “beyond a reasonable doubt.” And all of your constitutional rights are in play.
With a traffic infraction, many states do not use a jury, but the judge decides your guilt or innocence using the same standard. 93% of drivers with a traffic ticket who hire an attorney to represent them get a dismissal or reduced charge.
In contrast, the standard in a civil suit is a “…preponderance of the evidence.”
Local SEO Is Crucial to Your Success as a Ghost Blogger
I’ve also written two monthly blogs for a septic service for six years. Do you know how difficult it is to write a 500-word blog that says these are the best shitsuckers in your area twice a month for six years?
You must naturally infuse hundreds of keywords, synonyms, and related words into septic pump services.
Keyword Research Part 1 — SEO Unlocked — Free SEO Course with Neil Patel
If you have no idea about keyword research, Neil Patel is as close as they come to an SEO expert. His videos are the best place to start.
“Neil Patel’s net worth is over $30 million. Neil is a self-made millionaire.” — BloggersPassion.
However, using their “brand” or business name and local SEO is the key to getting your client to the top of the SERPs in their area.
They cannot compete with national companies, nor should they even try. How many homeowners will call a septic pumping service out of their area? Very few, if any.
Local SEO is the answer. Using city and state names and local landmarks is crucial.
Although many writers say, “It’s not about the money.” I never write for free. My point of view in one-minute.
Typically, I use Medium as my relief. I can write whatever I please here and not have to worry about “ethical standards” as I have to when writing legal articles or local SEO like I do with septic services, private investigators, used car sales, garage door repair and installation services, HVAC installation and services, landscaping, home improvements, and many others that I write ghost blogs for monthly.
BTW, never reveal who you ghost blog for; that would be unethical and unprofessional.
Thanks for your time. If you have any questions, ask me in the comments.
