“Good day, mate” I wished the lift operator. The old man nodded his head without greeting me back. Creepy.

Dark narrow corridors, warm flickering lights — a perfect paranormal location. I didn’t believe in ghosts until I saw this mystery girl. Under her long skirt, her walk seems like floating in the air. She lives across my floor. When I came out, I jumped at her dark silhouette staring right at me.

“Vacate this apartment” she murmured. I bustled inside, hitting the newspaper rack.

A lift operator commits suicide in his apartment.

A warm breath brushed my neck.

“Good day too.”
